How's the skin after Christmas?

I'm sure there are many out there who are now suffering with spots and whatnots on the skin due to the large intake of fatty, sweet foods over the Christmas period.  The poor skin is trying to get rid of the toxin through the skin so let it do that.

DONTS FOR HELPING THE SKIN BACK TO NORMAL

Don't go putting on spot remover stuff on our face.  Chances are it's pure chemicals and will do no good in the long run

Don't cover up the spots by wearing an exaggerated amount of make up.  Your skin needs to rid itself of these toxins so let it

Don't get into a panic.  Stress will probably make the situation worse.  With a bit of patience and dedication to your skin you'll have it right in no time!

Go back to that healthy "ish" diet you were on before Christmas.  Lots of fresh fruit and veggies in there.  

Stay away from the sweets and chocolate or cut them down to a minimum.  Eat some dates if you want something sweet.  They're delicious!!

Same applies to alcohol.  Keep it to a minimum

Get out in the fresh air even if it's a bit cold.  Just wrap up. 

Use a good facial oil cleanser every evening, not just to remove make up but also to clean out the pores.  Do it twice if you have to.  Just get that skin glowing with cleanliness

Give yourself a facial massage once a day with upward movements.  About 5 minutes will do.  This gets the circulation into the facial skin and makes it feel active.
