Foods that will help nourish your hair are:-
Vitamin C rich foods such as oranges, tangerines or any citrus fruit. Strawberries, all fruit really, celery, broccoli also are rich in vitamin c
Foods rich in iron such as spinach, leafy greens, red meats. Those along with the vitamin c rich foods, which will help the absorption of iron, will be very beneficial for your hair
All kinds of nuts too, especially those such as brazil nuts that carry linolenic acid in their omega 3 and omega 6 are great for the hair
And Vitamin A, which can be found in large quantities in sweet potatoe, cheese, oily fish and eggs
Protein rich foods such as meat, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy products are all great for the hair too. Elastin, collagen and and keratin are the most important proteins.
In general, eat well, keep your food intake fresh and natural, get plenty of rest as well as plenty of exercise. Drink lots of liquids and I don't mean alcohol!!!
