A Pineapple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away
Oh no sorry it's not a pineapple a day, it's an apple a day. Ah well. But I'm sure a pineapple a day would keep the doctor away too. That's if you could manage to eat one on a daily basis.
I've just had two thick slices of pineapple and I'm quite full. This particular one wasn't the nicest, a bit watery for my taste. Sometimes, you can get a wonderful pineapple that is just perfectly ripe and sweet
Packed with Nutrition
A pineapple really is packed with nutrition. Tons of vitamin c in there as well as rich in antioxidants known as flavonoids and phenolic acids. It also contains bromelain which is anti inflamatory.
So all this is good for the skin too!! Try eat pineapple once a week and maybe not a full one but two good slices!!!
