Shampoo bars are a very convenient way to carry your hair needs while you're travelling.  Simply put into a container and pop it into your washbag and at the other end there's no need to use the shampoos that hotels, rentals or guest houses supply.  And you've not contributed to the waste that goes on outside of you home.

I go nowhere without my shampoo bar even if I'm going to visit a friend and stay over.  When I'm leaving I make sure it's back in my washbag and ready for the next visit I make.

I don't know about you and your experience with a shampoo bar but mine is a very positive one.  My hair is absolutely squeaky clean after using the shampoo bar.  I can almost hear the squeaking that's going on.  I tend to leave the creamy suds in my hair while I have my shower and then, at the end, I rinse off.  This giving time to let the shampoo rest in you hair seems to work really well.  All those good oils gewt to work and round up the grime and upon rinsing the water takes grime and suds away.  My hair feels so clean it's unreal.
