Every morning, do you start your day with a zero-waste natural skincare routine that leaves you feeling refreshed and energised?  I do.  I’ve found that using natural products helps to keep my skin looking healthy and glowing. In this blog post, I’ll share my morning routine and how I incorporate zero-waste natural skincare into it.

Why Natural Skincare?

When it comes to skincare, I prefer to use natural products because they are better for the environment and healthier for my skin. Natural products are free from harsh chemicals and synthetic ingredients, which can be damaging to the skin. Additionally, many of these products come in reusable or recyclable packaging, making them more sustainable than traditional skincare products.

My Morning Routine

I start my morning by washing my face with a gentle cleanser made from natural ingredients like aloe vera and honey. This helps to remove any dirt or oil that has built up overnight while also nourishing the skin. After cleansing, I apply a toner made from witch hazel and rosewater to help balance the pH of my skin.

Next, I apply a moisturizer made from organic oils like jojoba and coconut oil to keep my skin hydrated throughout the day. Finally, I use an SPF moisturizer with zinc oxide to protect my skin from the sun’s harmful rays.

Zero Waste Products

In addition to using natural skincare products, I also try to use zero-waste products whenever possible and that is practically all the time as I use my own products which I developed with zero-waste in mind. This includes things like shampoo bars instead of bottled shampoo, bamboo toothbrushes instead of plastic ones, and reusable cotton rounds instead of disposable ones. By making small changes like these in my daily routine, I can help reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills or oceans each year.
