Herbal Toner With Dandelion

dandelion in the grass

I just had to share this recipe with you that I got from Natural Beauty Alchemy book, a book I keep close to hand and heart in my natural and organic skincare shelf.  I love this recipe because I love dandelions.  I love how they look in the grass or when they are bursting forth through the cracks in the concrete.  They are born survivors and are hardy bucks.

Dandelion is rich in Vitamins B and C and A.  It also is rich in iron, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, zinc and copper.  This toner will help to improve your skin's tone and will add vitality to it, giving you a more youthful. look.

The Healing Properties of Rosewater and Glycerin

It also contains glycerin and rose water.  Like the dandelion, these will add to your skin's health and vitality.  Rose water with its anti-oxidant properties along with its healing and hydrating properties, and combined with the dandelion tea, make this a powerful toner for everyday use. Glycerin is great for dry skin and is healing, hydrating and protecting

The problem now in November might be to find some fresh dandelions but if you can't you can always pop down to the health shop and buy some dried dandelion
